ICD-10 Transition One Year Away

When 2014 rolled around, the healthcare industry was expecting the transition to the ICD-10 coding system to happen today. In March, Congress unexpectedly voted to delay that transition for at least one year,  and HHS subsequently reset the transition date to October 1, 2015.
