Among the many factors that set us apart from other software vendors, perhaps
the most critical is ProVation’s intuitive user interface. Designed by an
in-house team of physicians and coders to simulate the way clinicians think,
work, and document, ProVation’s unique, specialty-specific features promote
fast, easy generation of medically rich procedure notes without compromising
a physician’s ability to elaborate on entries or modify preferences.

Driven by deep medical content, the Anticipatory Interface
is a series of cascading “smart menus” that automatically navigate from
section to section, displaying only relevant content based upon information
already entered and defaulting to most common next step based on previous
selections.

Similar to preference cards in OR, the Preferences feature allows surgeons
to save menus of selections for commonly performed procedures. A surgeon’s
own preferences contain pre-populated information, built to accommodate
his or her personal documentation style. The physician preference automatically
pre-populates the navigation tree, allowing surgeons to complete the bulk
of each note with one or two clicks.

ProVation MD’s dynamic DocuDiagrams feature provides a graphical method
for documenting cardiac function and findings data. At the click of a button,
physicians can create color-coded diagrams that automatically generate codes
and text within the note. Changes to the note are instantly reflected in
DocuDiagrams, and vice versa. The end result is a cohesive, comprehensive
note with professional graphics that speeds physician documentation, drives
coding and can be used for patient education.
