FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Thursday, 8 November 2007
Following outstanding success in the United States Market, ProVation Medical, part of Wolters Kluwer Health, is launching its market-leading ProVation MD and ProVation MultiCaregiver documentation software into the Australian healthcare market.
ProVation Medical provides software solutions for hospitals and health systems that:
• are developed by physicians for physicians
• streamline procedural documentation
• utilise an intuitive user interface
• interface seamlessly with scheduling, patient demographic and other healthcare IT systems
• allow images taken during the procedure to be integrated into the report
• have market-leading query/reporting capabilities for quality or other initiatives
Unlike many organisations with products on the market in Australia and New Zealand, Wolters Kluwer Health has had an established local presence for more than 13 years. The Wolters Kluwer/ProVation Medical Sydney presence was recently expanded with the addition of two new executives, Allan Roberts, international sales director and Justin Long, international sales specialist.
Allan Roberts has a diverse wealth of knowledge and experience with over 12 years in the health industry as an educator, manager and software development advisor.
“I’m delighted to join ProVation Medical and to be able to provide cutting-edge software solutions for both the Australian and New Zealand healthcare systems, which is in much need and demand,” said Allan Roberts.
“Technological solutions like ProVation software improve patient care and streamline clinical workflow. ProVation provides the best in electronic documentation and workflow as well as a safe and easy way to track quality of care.”
ProVation Medical is also a proud sponsor of the 2007 AHHA Annual Congress. This year the Congress will take the form of a special Thought Leadership ‘Think Tank’, which will bring invited guests together to discuss issues such as the Australian Health Commonwealth Agreements, Quality and Safety and Dental and Oral Health in the frenetic environment of the Federal Election and post election reality.
“Through this sponsorship we will position ProVation Medical as not only innovators but as leaders in electronic documentation and show our commitment to excellence in providing the best product and the best possible service to healthcare providers in Australia,” said Allan Roberts.
